First there was loud guitars and yelling from Adam and Jim...then came Q on the boom booms...then Johnny usurped the bass position and also more yelling. Adam once said, "Clouds is a band; not a project." That about sums it up. This theory was proven as all members routinely participated in many, many, many, van loads/unloads on a U.K. trip and two U.S. tours, including main support for Pelican's "Summer of Echoes" tour in '07. The first album, "Legendary Demo" was recorded by co-conspirator Steve Brodsky at their practice space, the world famous Club Awesome in Allston, MA and surpassed all original expectations by coming out in 2007 via Hydrahead Industries. The triumphant follow up album, "WE ARE ABOVE YOU" recorded by Kurt Ballou at Godcity in the haunted town of Salem, MA comes out, June 3, 2008 once again via the artistic visionaries at Hydrahead Industries. Look for the Clouds to be tearing your town/city/state/country/continent a new one all this year and beyond....
