Dirt Mall is an ibuprofen & smoked turkey fueled juggernaut of rock & roll excitement. You'll never see two guys wearing the same shirt when this 4 piece takes the stage, and that encapsulates the unique energy they bring every time they play into some sort of shell, but not a nutshell, since there's a good chance someone could be allergic, and nut allergies are quite dangerous. Speaking of danger, there's Dangerous Derek Maderios on the drums. I probably misspelled his last name there. Speaking of last names how about Anguish and Wales, people? Dig that... or those. Of course I'm talking about Johnny Anguish on vocals and guitar and Keith Wales on bass here. Is someone wailing in anguish? Or is a whale anguished, is that why the humpback sings? Or are whalers anguished because they can't ply their trade anymore. Regardless, these 3 guys along with Jay Murray (who, every time he plays a pentatonic minor lead, an angel gets its wings) are ready to harpoon your eardrums with some searing rock riffs and serve you up fat slabs of sonic, still pulsing blubber while downstairs, in the galley or hold, the sound of necessary repairs bash and thud you into a trance-like state, thud, crash, wizzzzz, thud, crash, wizzzz, buy, Got the Goat, By the Horns, buy, Got The Goat By The Horns, etc & so forth.
