BIG TEASE: Chris Cornell says despite recent rumors, no Soundgarden reunion is in the works. "[We're] trying to put together an album of B-sides and maybe a box set with some unreleased tracks," says Chris. "We all feel it's time to do that . . . we have a lot of new fans discovering our music." He went on to say the a reunion is "not impossible," but I say keep your B-sides and unreleased material until it's "highly probable." I'm tired of you guys toying with my emotions.
SMALL CORRECTION: Joe Perry said that Aerosmith would postpone it's upcoming shows in Florida, but now he Tweets "Looks like we [are] keeping fingers crossed for Tampa [and Sunrise] shows." The band has taken some time off as Steven Tyler recovers from a leg injury sustained on stage recently - at least that's what drummer Joey Kramer told me when he visited WBCN on Monday. And honestly...why would he lie?
MEDIUM TOUR: Pearl Jam will play some shows this fall in support of their new album "Backspacer." Seattle, L.A., San Diego and Philadelphia will all host the band as they play a total of nine shows. Actually, it's a "SMALL TOUR," but I already used "small" in the Aerosmith story. So there.
