We feature a great mix of lifestyle programming and content including Opie & Anthony in the morning, Toucher & Rich in the afternoon, the best rock music the rest of the day and night and, in-season, we are the flagship station of the New England Patriots Rock Radio Network.

WBCN celebrated our 40th birthday on March 15th, 2008. Throughout our history we have maintained our dominance in the rock music format and become one of the best known rock radio stations in the country. We are credited with breaking huge artists including both U2 and The Police.

Our listeners wake up with Opie & Anthony, a show that originated here in Boston and is now syndicated out of CBS Radio owned WXRK in New York. There is tremendous awareness and loyalty toward the Opie & Anthony show because of their near 15-year history in this market. The midday ship is captained by Boston’s own Adam-12. Adam grew up locally and loves Boston. He is an avid music and sports fan. In afternoon drive, Toucher & Rich take the helm. The show is made up of four friends, Fred Toucher, Rich Shertenlieb, Crash Clark and Adolfo Gonzalez. They celebrated their 2-year anniversary at WBCN on June 5th, 2008 and have already become an award winning show locally and nationally.

Our station targets men between 18 and 44 years old with a hyper-focus on a 31 year old man. The personalities who host our radio station all fall squarely within the target demo and many of them are right around the age of our hyper-focused listener.
