EXHIBITIONIST: Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda will showcase artwork at an exhibit called Glorious Excess (Dies) in L.A. August 29th to October 14th. The Japanese American National Museum will host Mikes pieces, which he says represent "obsession with celebrity culture, consumer addiction and fascination with excess." I think I’ve seen his stuff before, but some guy named Andy Warhol took the credit for it.
CHECK IT: The new video for the Alice in Chains song “A Looking in View” at

WHEW: At first, I thought they said “concept” album. No, it’s a “concert” album from Judas Priest, and they’re streaming the whole damn thing
here. At least until midnight on Monday, when the record goes on sale and Rob Halford turns into a flaming pumpkin.
