STAY CLASSY, ROBERT: Led Zeppelin frontman and bluegrass collaborator Robert Plant was given the Commander of the Order of the British Empire medal on Friday by Prince Charles. When asked about a Zep reuinion, he said, "Sometimes I go a bit deaf in either ear, especially when people are talking nonsense." Nonsense. That’s nice, Robert. I’m sure you’d be rich and famous and getting medals from the royal family if you had never been in the band, much less entertained the thought of a reunion.
STILL WORKING: Slash says he’ll get together with fellow ex G n R member Steven Adler and Flea this week to record rhythm tracks for his forever-in-the-making solo record. Meanwhile, you can hear Slash on the title track to the new movie Bruno.
ALL OVER: Korn drummer David Silveria left the band in 2006, but now he may be done with music altogether. Korn guitarist Munky says he “found out David had sold all of his drums and never wants to play the drums again . . . drug addiction has been a really big part of it." Ya think?
