Let’s see… Opie hosted a rock radio show on Long Island called the Opie Show. It was later changed to "The Nighttime Attitude". Anthony was an Air Conditioning Duct Worker. Then a nice gentleman in Brentwood decided to return a pair of sunglasses and O.J. ended up killing two people. Well, he was found innocent in one court of law and guilty in another, so for our sake let’s just say he was guilty. I mean, let’s be honest, his blood was everywhere. Anthony wrote a parody song called ‘Gonna Electric Shock O.J.’ and sent it to Opie. Opie laughed and laughed and invited Anthony to sit in on the show. Soon after, The Opie & Anthony Show was born.
Not a lot of people get to say this, but Thanks Juice!!
Then one day a loveable little fella named Jimmy Norton was left on Opie & Anthony’s doorstep. They took him in and gave him a home.
Along the way there have been many misunderstandings. The $100 Grand Contest was actually for a candy bar and not cash. The winner wasn’t happy. The Mayor of Boston didn’t really die in a fiery car crash. He wasn’t happy. Were those girls really taking showers in the transparent Voyeur Bus as it drove around midtown? Now the Mayor of NYC wasn’t happy. There was that couple that did that thing in that place... I think you get the idea.
