I’m a Rhode Island girl, and I moved to Boston when I was 18 to go to school and start a band. I played guitar in some punk metal bands, released some CDs, and did some DIY touring across the US. It was all very glamorous – a bunch of people crammed into an old van living on $5 a day. We slept on a lot of floors, some that actually had animal crap on them. Well, I hope it was animal.
My last band was Heidi which by some miracle got signed to Warner Brothers. I moved to L.A., played shows around Southern California, and got to meet the Chili Peppers and The Offspring at various recording studios. The best part of it all was living in a cheap Malibu beach house and going shopping with Pamela Anderson at the local supermarket. I met her in the canned peaches aisle.
None of that really paid the bills, so I worked on-air at a few radio stations. I also scouted for MCA Records, worked for the Grammys, DJ’d at The Paradise in Boston, and did some time as a snarky counter girl at a used record store.
Call, email, or drop me some Instant Feedback. Please don’t write to me in Spanish. I’m actually Irish. The, uh, “radio name" is a long story.
