During the 2006 season, Re/Max of New England teamed up with the Patriots Radio Network and donated $100 for every sack the Patriots made. After a hard fought season, the Patriots totaled 66 sacks. This season, Sylvania returns to sponsor Kicks for Charity. For every successful Field Goal during the 2006 Regular Season, Sylvania donates $1,000 to the United Way Of New England. During the 2006 season, Whole Foods Market teamed up with the WBCN Patriots Rock Radio Network to Tackle Hunger in the Greater Boston Area. For every tackle New England made during the 2006 NFL Season, Whole Foods Market donated a case of their 365 Everyday Value Line to the Greater Boston Food Bank. Since the Patriots totaled 947 tackles this season, Whole Foods will donate 947 cases of their 365 everyday value line to the Greater Boston Food Bank. Boston Life Sciences teamed up with the WBCN Rock Radio Network to Intercept Parkinson's Disease. For every interception that the Patriot's made this season, Boston Life Sciences donated $1,000 to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research to help fund research and the development of a cure for Parkinson's disease. After Mike Vrabel’s Interception of Jon Kitna in Sunday’s win over the Lions, they have successfully reached their goal of $15,000. Boston Life Sciences, a biotech company based in Hopkinton, MA. is focused in diagnostics and therapeutics for central nervous system disorders. This season Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Pro-Bowl Special Team Player and Linebacker Larry Izzo, Steve Burton from CBS-4 Sports, and the WBCN Rock Radio Network teamed up for the "Rushing Towards a Cure" campaign. For every 100 yards the Patriots rushed for, Millennium Pharmaceuticals donated $1,000 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help fund blood cancer research, education and patient services.
