American Cancer Society Launches Bicycles Battling Cancer In Massachusetts
The American Cancer Society's inaugural Bicycles Battling Cancer event is set for Sunday, July 26. A 70-mile ride from Worcester to Boston, this event will have results that go on and on by supporting the Society's critical mission to save lives and create more birthdays by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against cancer. Riders can participate individually or as a team. There is a $50 registration fee and an $800 minimum fundraising goal to participate. 2009 Prostate Cancer Foundation Home Run Challenge

This year, more than 186,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. This Father’s Day week team up with Major League Baseball and the Prostate Cancer Foundation to “Keep Dad in the Game.” Call 1-800-798-CURE and pledge any amount to the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s Home Run Challenge. Marlborough Triathlon

Cyclists of the Tri-State Trek

Cyclists of the Tri-State Trek need more cowbells as they ride 270 miles toward a cure for ALS, Lou Gherig’s Disease.  Cycling from Boston to New York July 24th, 25th and 26th, this 7th annual fully supported bike ride is looking for riders, volunteers, or folks to just come out and cheer.  For more information visit www.needmorecowbell.org and learn how you can help.  We need a cure, we need more cowbell!


The 2009 Pan-Mass Challenge
Register now to ride in the 30th annual Pan-Mass Challenge and raise money for cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Choose from seven routes, ranging from 47 to 190 miles over one or two days. Open to 5,500 cyclists, the PMC will be held on August 1st and 2nd ,2009.
