Hours: mornings or afternoons.
This internship involves assisting in providing content for WBCN.com and other CBS Radio web sites. Experience with HTML and Photoshop are helpful, but not required. You will work on site at CBS Radio Boston's studios in Brighton, asssisting with audio production, photography, video, graphic design, and data entry.
Promotions/Marketing
Hours: flexible, minimum of 2 days a week
This internship will involve some in-office and off site duties, some of which include: Fulfillment and organization of prizes, calling winners, office duties, offsite events and more.
Boston Sunday Review
Hours: In office Sundays 6:00am and other days flexible
Interns will be responsible for producing a two-hour weekly public affairs show held every Sunday from 7am-9am called the Boston Sunday Review. Interns will seek out and book timely, news-sensitive guests for the show. They will deal with local and national publicists; respond to voice-mail "pitches" and open mail. On Sundays, in-studio, Interns will meet and greet guests as well as screen telephone calls during phone-in segments. There is also the potential to create segment ideas and research/write interviews.
Music Department
Hours: Minimum of 2 days a week 10am to 5pm
Some of the duties interns can find in this department will be general office duties, music tracking, artist bios, and assisting with remote broadcast.
New England Patriots
The Patriots Rock Radio Network is looking for an intern for the entire Patriots season including pre-season. Interns need to be available from 4 hours before kickoff until 4 hours after the game ends. Duties will include light audio editing and production, CD burning, posting game segments to ftp site, assisting studio producers during game broadcasts and more.
