In the year of our lord 1995 Iann Robinson didn't think his tiny cable Access show would take him as far as it has. The Monkey Butt Sex show was just Iann by himself doing what he does best, spouting off about music and pop culture. From that show he was able to garner a small career as a director of low budget music videos for the likes of Hedpe, H20, Agnostic Front, Sick Of It All and others.
Iann parlayed his director skills into his own business and from that came the MTV years. From 2000 to 2003 Iann worked as an on-air news reporter, ratings booster and all around hell raiser on the channel. Coupling his ability behind a microphone with his vast music knowledge, Iann became one of the most respected characters on MTV. After that Iann did some work with Discovery before accepting this new chapter in his life at WBCN.
